Correct understanding of premature babies
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), premature babies are born before 37 weeks of gestation and low birth weight babies when their birth weight is less than 2500 grams.

Premature birth is defined as when a baby is born too early. When a pregnant woman gives birth and gives birth to a baby between the 20th and 37th weeks of pregnancy, it is called preterm birth. Pregnant women need to learn the causes of threatened preterm birth to prevent as much as possible.

Premature birth is when the baby is born too early, the mother goes into labor and gives birth between the 20th and 37th weeks of pregnancy. Babies born extremely prematurely will face many complications. Because the body of premature babies has not yet been able to stabilize their own body temperature in the fat stored under the skin, in normal room conditions, the baby is prone to cold. At that time, the baby needs support from the neonatal intensive care unit. There, the baby's body will be kept warm by placing him in an incubator or special heating system.

Some other problems that premature babies often have are cognitive defects. The risk of health problems is highest for babies born before 34 weeks of pregnancy. However, babies born between 34 and 37 weeks of pregnancy are also at certain risk.
